The Working Reading List provides a descriptive paragraph about each book along with publication information. A Working Reading List is available through NCEA publications. Books are coded by grade. Books are identified as Fiction (F) and/or Non-fiction (NF). Non-fiction are informational.
This Guide was updated during the 2015-16 school year with input from educators throughout the Diocesan Elementary Schools. Lexile scores were added when available to help teachers, students, and parents choose literature that is appropriate to each child’s reading level.
